Manchester City Player Ratings
Stefan Ortega – 5/10
No one said anything about bringing a pillow and blanket into the stadium, because Bratislava’s three shots were not on target, even though Tolic’s shot went just wide of the frame early in the game.
Rico Lewis – 8/10
A beautiful through ball for Haaland, whose shot was saved early on, but his efforts paid off when he provided a beautiful assist for Haaland, who scored. He often slipped into the penalty area and had chances to score himself.
Manuel Akanji – 7/10
He did an excellent job, made no mistakes, and controlled Bratislava’s attacking play. There was one moment when he quickly cut off a foul to prevent the home team from easily playing a counter-attack.
John Stones – 7/10
He passed the ball accurately when the โปรโมชั่น ufabet team built up from the back and made few defensive mistakes. This was only his third start of the season.
Josko Gvardiol – 7/10
Collecting the ball in the air, making important tackles, making it difficult for Bratislava’s forwards to set up the game, and easily adding to the attacking game when facing an opponent who barely has a chance to count.
Matheus Nunes – 6/10
Still has problems with final decision-making but is good at driving the ball forward, as well as making a number of accurate passes.
Ilkay Gundogan – 7/10
He scored his first goal after returning to the team and almost scored a second but the ball hit the crossbar, but his speed was a slight obstacle.
Savinho – 6/10
It’s surprising that he played on the left wing and didn’t have much possession of the ball because most of the game went to Doku’s right wing. Then towards the end of the game he moved up to play as a forward.
Phil Foden – 8/10
A soft shot and it was his first goal of the season. It was a shot that gave him confidence. In a game where there was not much pressure, he played comfortably and also had an assist.
Jeremy Doku – 8/10
He should have been the scorer of the game with his shot hitting the top corner, but
at least he had the assist for Foden, who made a huge impact on the opposition defenders by getting the ball so much.
Erling Haaland – 6/10
Had a golden opportunity to shoot early on but was saved. Fortunately, he made up for it in the second half, using his ability to dodge the goalkeeper before easily scoring. However,
overall, it was disappointing because he wasted too many chances.
Substitute
James McAtee (on for Haaland 61′) – 7/10 – Made a good run of play and eventually found space to shoot.
Ruben Dias (on for Akanji 61′) – 5/10 – Barely faced any pressure from the opposition.
Kyle Walker (replaced Guardiola 78′) – 6/10 – Came on when the game was already over so he didn’t have to worry about defense. Had a shot that was saved.
Jack Grealish (on for Foden 78′) – 5/10 – Too little time to make an impact on the game.
